To: 12 December 2021

Location of event: Online

UHC protects our world.

Universal health coverage (UHC) ensures all people, everywhere, can get the quality health services they need without financial hardship. Every 12 December, advocates worldwide mobilize on UHC Day to call for strong, equitable health systems that leave no one behind: Health for All. With an ongoing global pandemic that has claimed millions of lives, the case for universal health coverage is clear. Join us to tell leaders that UHC is a moral and smart investment that cannot wait.

The UHC Day Coordination Group (12.12.CG) is powered by UHC2030, a multi-stakeholder partnership driving the global movement to build strong health systems for universal health coverage.
Since its establishment in 2016, UHC2030 is proud to have supported partners around the world to organize events each UHC Day. Building on its experience and mandate, UHC2030 is uniquely positioned to coordinate UHC Day observations across the UN system and countries around the world.

Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is high on the political agenda and will for sure stay there. The role of digital technology in scaling up the opportunities to reach UHC is crucial and will remain so. We can also be sure that we are all aligned on our mission to scale up digital health innovation to reach UHC. But are we aligned on how to get there? The event bring together innovators, financiers, users of innovations and policy makers to discuss obstacles and opportunities to scale digital health interventions, showcase successful innovations and collaborate on the way forward.
