Partnering across sectors to tackle digital health challenges is essential yet building and sustaining transformative collaborations can be complex. That’s why DCCC created this learning platform: to support its members with practical insights and lessons on what makes partnerships work.
Even when partnerships share clear goals, they can encounter similar hurdles, like finding the right partner, aligning organizational cultures, establishing joint governance, and building a solid business case to evaluate value and impact. The good news? Many organizations have faced these challenges before, and there are ways how to navigate them.
Drawing on the experiences of DCCC members and global research, we’ve identified eight essential building blocks for effective digital health partnerships. Each building block provides you with practical insights, tools, and strategies to navigate challenges and build collaborations that deliver real, lasting impact.
Each building block highlights a key theme in the partnering journey. Whether you’re looking to understand governance, identify the right partner, or improve collaboration, you’ll find practical insights tailored to each topic.
The building blocks are designed to guide you through the full partnership lifecycle—from forming a partnership to sustaining and evolving it. At the center is relational work, which supports every stage and underpins all other elements. Already in a partnership? You can jump straight to the building block that addresses your current challenge.
This platform is built on the collective knowledge of DCCC members, and we are always looking to grow. Help us make it even better by sharing your own lessons and insights from digital health partnerships.
We are continually looking to onboard new members who are willing to commit to our mission, provide operational resources and co-create. As a multi-stakeholder coalition, we are looking to bring in a variety of voices, sectors and actors involved in the digital transformation of healthcare.
