How does this organization contribute to our joint mission to accelerate the digital transformation as a means to achieve UHC in LMICs by 2030?

Africa Health Ventures contributes by making financial investments into early-stage, high-impact healthcare companies exclusively in LMICs. We invest in organizations that leverage digital innovation to expand access, improve quality, and reduce costs across Africa. We back founders building technology-enabled solutions that address systemic gaps in underserved markets. Beyond capital, we provide strategic support to help companies in and outside of our portfolio to navigate fragmented health systems, integrate with public and private stakeholders, and scale sustainably. By accelerating the growth of digitally enabled healthcare models, we help catalyze more resilient, inclusive health systems aligned with universal health coverage goals across low- and middle-income countries.

What does this organization bring to the DCCC network?

We contribute expertise at the intersection of venture capital, digital health, and African healthcare systems. This includes sharing market insights, pipeline visibility into innovative startups, and lessons from scaling technology-enabled care models in resource-constrained settings. We can support the network by connecting partners to high-potential companies, co-developing investment theses, and participating in collaborative initiatives that accelerate adoption of digital health solutions. We are committed to being an active, collaborative member that contributes knowledge, capital perspective, and on-the-ground experience to advance shared goals.
